Wyndham opens new 143-room hotel in Muscat

Leading hospitality group Wyndham Hotels and Resorts has announced the soft opening of its new hotel in Muscat, Oman. 
 
Located in Dohat Al Adab with a view on Sultan Qabous Street, and only 20 minutes away from Muscat International Airport, the Wyndham Garden Muscat Al Khuwair offers 143 rooms and suites with a modern design.
 
Speaking on the occasion, General Manager Yasser Bahaa said: "The guests have free access to a fitness centre, with an indoor swimming pool for ladies only, outdoor pool, steam room, and sauna."
 
"In addition to a variety of restaurants such as Al Andalus Restaurant, the hotel’s international all-day dining outlet is a perfect destination for business, friends and family," he noted. 
 
An industry veteran, Bahaa has over 25 years of experience in the industry. He had previously worked with Accor hotels in the Middle East and Gulf region, such as Sofitel, Movenpick, Mercure Grand, Mercure, Ibis, and Helnan International.
 
“Churrascaria Steakhouse”, opening soon in the hotel’s 8th floor is the first Brazilian authentic restaurant in Muscat. ‘Express café’, the in-house café offers a selection of bakery and a variety of hot & cold beverages.
 
The hotel also serves four personalized venues and facilities thus making a perfect destination for corporate meetings and events. It is also part of the Al Nawras shopping centre, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
